These Glass Tanks Are Home To Some Of The Most Incredible Little Worlds.

Before I saw this amazing artwork by Mariele Neudecker, I thought the only kind of life that could be brought to a glass aquarium tank had to be purchased at a pet store. Thanks to the United Kingdom-based artist, I now know that that is far from being the case. In her series Tank Works, Neudecker creates these incredible 3D landscapes that truly seem like they”re their own worlds. Take a look at the tiny universes she has been able to create below!

Wow. Those are awesome. Who needs goldfish when you can have your own little world sitting on whatever surface you choose? There certainly seems to be less maintenance involved, too.
